Vantastic Adventure 4: Garlic Planting at Synergy Gardens

Come join us and get some volunteer hours in the process!

We will be departing the REC Room in our van at 4:15-4:20 and heading out to 54329 Wilderness Ln, Homer, AK 99603 aka Synergy Gardens. We will learn about all things garlic from a local and successful farmer, Lori Jenkins.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about local food and agriculture as well as get in some volunteer hours for your graduation requirements.

Gloves and snacks will be supplied. Please dress for the weather accordingly. It’s getting chilly out there!

We will be returning back to the REC Room and will arrive shortly before closing at 6:30 PM. If you have alternate transportation either to or from, please still notify us that you will be coming.

Sierra will be the youth staff on this trip as a chaperone and will be assisted by a Homer Rotary Club volunteer. You can reach Sierra at 707-223-4939 the day of the trip with questions, but please note there will be a delay in communication.
