Introducing…………. REC Roomer of the Month!

Hey, y’all!

We are thrilled to share that we at the REC have implemented a new monthly event where we get to celebrate and honor an awesome teen! One teen a month is selected by the adult Youth Program Staff (Kai, Sierra, Tyler, and Carolyn) that meets and exceeds our REC Room Culture and Values.

Some of those things include:

• Being inclusive and welcoming to all that are in our space.
• Go above and beyond in helping us maintain and clean our space
• Exceeding expectations of being a program participant by taking on roles, giving feedback and even suggesting different programs and ideas.

For the month of February, we’ve chosen one young human who has chosen to remain anonymous.

They have continually, for almost a year now shown up and been super involved in all things REC. Not only have they participated in many programs, but they also seem to know how to run the place! They are kind, inclusive, curious, and incredibly genuine. Thank you to this young person for helping folks feel welcome here and for always being willing to help out around our space.
